The experience

Midburn is part of the global movement that began with Burning Man, the temporary city built each year in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert and attended by around 80,000 people. Since its launch in Israel in 2014, there have been eight full Midburn events, two special events for the association and additional community events led by the association and produced by us. Midburn is one of the largest and most prominent regional Burning Man events in the world. Over six days, thousands of participants build a desert city of art, community, content and participation, becoming active creators rather than spectators.

The production

We manage the construction and operation of the temporary city from the ground up under complex field conditions. Each year, we plan and coordinate dozens of camps and content zones, large-scale art installations, power distribution, fencing and security, water and sanitation infrastructure, roads and traffic, logistics, safety and licensing for thousands of Midburn community members. We work with the authorities and run the operation continuously for a month on site: two weeks of setup, six event days and a week of dismantling.

Videos from Midburn
